I’m remodeling our bathroom and now I want to find out what is the best plant that will thrive in situations with no/low light. I’m aware that all plants do need some sort of light everyday. Any suggestions?

Is there a product designed for venting a bathroom fan through a metal roof?

Steve Z asked:

I am remodeling my bathroom and would like a fan that will vent through the roof. This is normally not a big deal, but I’m a little unsure how to properly seal the vent to a metal roof. Is there a product designed to do this?
I’ve heard that venting through the soffit is bad because moisture will come back into the attic through the soffit vents. Also regular metal flashing won’t really work because of the ridges in the metal roof. I need a boot that is designed to go aroudn a square roof vent.

I am planning on remodeling my bathroom in about 2 years but in the meantime I want to paint it and make it look better. I just do not want to put too much money into it since it will be coming down in a few years. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
There is also one large wall that I want to put something on or against so it is not so boring. Maybe some kind of molding or chair rail if it is not too hard to put up.

Ryan asked:

The building is old (built 1903) and the water occasionally gets scalding hot in the shower if a neighbor uses water (eg- flushes a toilet) regardless of my shower settings. I am considering a remodel of the bathroom and was wondering if there is any way to correct for this so the water temperature is consistent irregardless of what others in the building are doing. Is this possible?
