My 4 month old Chihuahua is always going to the bathroom in the house. We tried giving him treats but then he would jut pretend to go to the bathroom to get the treats. I try to take him out every 2 hours, but when I bring him back in, he goes. He holds it in through the night, and i have him trained to go first thing in the morning, but for the rest of the day he isn’t trained. Can somebody please help me!!!!

I have a Miniature Schnauzer who is just a shade over 4 months old. Up until today when I took him outside he has been going to the bathroom and been ready to come in soon after that. Well today when I take him outside to go to the bathroom all that he wants to do is run around the yard and play. He has not exhibited this behavior until now. What can I do to get him to go to the bathroom while he is outside? I have gone out with him 3 times so far and all he has wanted to do is play.

I have a 4 month old puppy. I work from home, so I’m able to watch her all day. She learned to sit at the door when she needs to go to the bathroom, which is great. However, she needs to go so frequently! She sits at the door at least every hour. How can I get her to hold it longer? She’s fine at night and can sleep in her crate for 8 hours without going to the bathroom, but I’d like her to hold it longer during the day.

I’ve tried crating her while I’m home, but she cried for 2 hours nonstop yesterday. It’s difficult for me to leave the house, since all of my work is here. Sometimes I try to ignore her when she’s sitting at the door to go outside, but I don’t want to discourage her telling me when she needs to go. Any tips?

When we leave the house for even a little bit, we let our 1 year old dog have free access to the entire house. About half the time when we get home there is a mess in the house from her going to the bathroom. When we do find a mess she knows she did something wrong because she cowers thinking she is going to get yelled at. When she doesnt go in the house she jumps on us when we get home, knowing she did nothing wrong. So my question is, if she knows right from wrong, why does she continue going to the bathroom in the house?

I have Ulcerative Colitis, I have had bloody stool for a week. I have joint pain, back pain, it’s hard to walk and everyday the back of my head hurts. I want to know what I could do to make my situation less painful. I have anemia and I am fatigued daily. I haven’t been able to walk normally in a week. I limp. When I go to the bathroom it hurts so much, is there an over the counter medicine I could pick up? As for the joint pain and head pain any suggestions?
