i recently purchased an older home, after moving in we found out that the person i bought it from had did a real quick cover-up paint job in the bathroom. Now it is peeling real bad and we have this spotty black mold or mildew forming on the walls. i tried to sand it down but the room has little ventilation and i can’t stand to be in the dust for very long. I tried a chemical stripper but while applying it to the ceiling, i am getting it on me and getting chemical burns and again the fews drive me out of the room quickly. A heat gun takes forever. What can i do to quickly and safely remove the layers of paint and mold from the walls and ceiling?
