How much would it approximately cost to fit a new bathroom, UK only?
Have bought the bathroom suite already (sink, bath and toilet only). How much approximately for LABOUR to fit it and re-tile from floor to ceiling, and tile the floor. I mean very rough estimate say within the nearest £500. And it’s quite a small bathroom.

When I lived in our old house we paid £350 for the plumber to fit the bath and stuff. Then my husband fitted the tiles himself. ***Missy***
To tile, about £700.00
to do fix and plumb appliances in about £600.00
To remove all old stuff say £250
£1,550.00 speedball182
Call tile people to get an estimate, much of their cost will be how expensive a tile you pick out.
Then call a plumber for an estimate of the installation cost of the fixtures. (Buying them before the plumber looks at the job is not always a good idea.)
Until someone SEES the job they really cannot make an estimate. Samm
Need more information - size of bathroom, plumbing requirements, condition of walls etc.
Roughly speaking if it’s no bigger than a single bedroom, the plumbing doesn’t need much done (ie. the new suite is going straight in where the old one was) and the walls don’t need much preparation, you’re looking at a couple of grand, tops.
Get a couple of quotes - it doesn’t cost you anything. frenziedmonkey
Labour at £40 an hour, 8hrs to fit suite, 16hrs to tile walls, 8 hrs to tile floor, another 8 for sundry painting, snagging and finishing, that equals 40 hours at £40 per hour = £1600…. plus VAT if your man is registered. Allow £400 for contigency (bits of pipe, sealants, screws, paint, etc.etc.) Call it £2000 (plus VAT if applicable) Phish
well you have to look very hard, when i was in job last year, i can do it for about £700, but you can find some one how can do it for less than that, if you go to seven sister road, that is in north London, near the DIY store call wick es, there are altos of worker out there can do for £500, some of them can not speak English very well, hair one for £20 a day if you know what you are doing, you can go cheaper than that, good luck badboyisawickedman
Having worked in the tile/bathroom business, I have to ask; what are the dimensions of the bathroom and where in the UK are you?
As a rough guide, the average bathroom (6′w x 8′l x 8′h) would cost approximately (depending on area; city prices will be higher and London…. second mortgage time!) £900 to tile plus any special materials (such as grout suitable for showers, adhesive & grout for wooden floors etc.)
Removal of old and fitting of new sanitaryware would be aproximately £450 - 550 depending on the work needed.
Get someone in to measure and give you a firm price, but if you budget for £2000 total you can’t go far wrong.
Hope that helps paul266172
About £2k - £2.5k… Bill H
It depends if you need electricial work done but you’d need to allow about £2000 for all. Groid
