Does the master bathroom have to match the master bedroom furniture?
I’m planning on renovating my master bathroom, and I pretty much know what I want in terms of style. However, I happen to have cream color, cottage style bedroom furniture. Does the master bathroom have to match that color and style? I was planning on having a dark color for the vanity, neutral color tile, with bronze faucets, and beige color granite counter top.

you should get a distressed dark brown cabinet, and get a decorative edge on the counter, I prefer the Dupont edge. It is all a matter of preference on what look to put where but an off set but coordinating tone will work great separating the two rooms. I do this for a living and any thing looks great. Adriane
Nothing permanently affixed (vanities, tiles, faucets, counter tops) need to match movable, changeable objects (furniture, fabrics, bedding). Look at it this way: If your house is empty it would not matter what furniture was previously in the bedroom. You would just have a nicely decorated bathroom. Right?
Go ahead with your plans and all will work out well. seamstress
when your decorating a master bath it doesnt necessarily have to match color for color, I would make sure their is some flowability to the two rooms. It seems dissheartening when you have a lovely room that creted a fungshway if you will, and walk into another room with different color schemes, . Maybe you can save some of your creativity for a room that doesnt adjoin with a room that would be visited frequently. notalittlegirl_2000
