I painted the bathroom 4 months ago due to peeling paint.

Surface prep included scraping, sanding, and priming with moisture resistant primer.

The room was then painted with a bathroom specific moisture resistant paint.

Now it’s peeling up again.

The bathroom has a fan that is run during and after showers.

I believe the walls are lathe and plaster.

Looking for painting suggestions so I don’t have to do this again in six months.

My bathroom sink is clogged and we are going to use DrainO to try to fix it. My question is how long do I have to wait until I can use that sink again to wash my face, brush my teeth, shave, etc? I don’t want any chemicals flying in my face.

Everything would have to be redone, floors, walls, new tub, new sink, probably some plumbing fixed or replaced. Its not a huge bathroom, but a full-sized one, maybe 8×5 or close to that. Also, I wanted a lot of black tile, is there colored grout so that I wouldn’t have to put in the white/grayish grout?

What can cause my bathroom breaker to trip? It started after I changed the lightbulb a few weeks ago. When my wife turns on her hair dryer, it almost always trips. Could it be the bulb, or would it be a short in the wiring somewhere? Also, everytime the bathroom breaker trips, my septic airiator will trip as well.

My bathroom has an untreated leak, causing a continuous smell from the toilet. Problem has been diagnosed by two plumbers, but landlord will not fix. I have to find a way to treat the odor, since I cannot treat the cause. Any suggestions on how to make my tiny, windowless bathroom somewhat bearable for guests? Thank you!

Does anyone knows the best way to keep the mold away from bathroom ceiling? Somehow during the winter, mold tends to build up in the bathroom ceiling and ventilation fan is not working good enough. It seems hot steam from the shower and cold air outside creates a condensation in the ceiling and walls, and that seems to be the cause of the mold built up. We spray bleach water all over the ceiling and wall to prevent the mold but would like to know if there is any other solution.

The sink in my bathroom is backing up. Does anybody have any trick to unclog it. I’m not sure about using drain’o. I heard that just makes it worse.

I live in a mobile home and the floor was rotten near the toilet. Someone came in to fix it. They replaced the board and cut the board around the bathroom.They board fits around the toilet but the toilet rocks when you sit on it. Is there anything that can be done to make the floor even?

It is a new shower but didn’t used to give out this smell, makes the bathroom stink all day!
Maybe it’s not a sulphur smeel ,It’s more a fishy smell or ammonia.
I also use electric to heat the hot water for a bath but that doesn’t smell.
