when i got my cat i had the luxury of being able to train it to use the toilet bowl instead of thee litter box (shes even trained to lift up the part that humans sit on), and shes been using it for over 1 year now! yesterday and today i keep hearing her anxiously meow as though she cant find a litter box, and shes twice (be4 i borrowed the box and litter) did her business on my floor! whats going on?

I’ve had a new kitten for less than a week now, and it’s starting to use the bathroom in the place its not suppose to. We have a litter box and keep it in a separate closet from its food. The only time it will use the bathroom is when I take it. How can I get my kitten to use its litter box all the time?

We caught a female feral cat for TNR and got her fixed today. They said we should try to keep her to observe her until at least tomorrow evening. She is in a Havahart trap, she has a towel to lie on and we’ve been slipping food in. However, where is she going to go to the bathroom? Should we try to some how stuff a small litter box in there?

Does anyone know how often cats usually go to the bathroom? Our kitty we found (made one post about her already) is doing okay, but now I’m wondering if she’s going normally? She seems to have a system- stock up eating, go to the bathroom in the morning. So far she went poop twice and pee once, but she is still recovering from her worms, so that could be it.
Thanks, that may seem like a really basic, if even dumb, question, but I really don’t know anything about cats. I’ve never noticed my lack of cat knowledge, and I wanted to see if cats go a common amount, like usally 4 times a day, etc. But since she’s still working out her system, I think she probably is doing okay. I’m not sure if I mentioned that she has some worms, and that’s why I’m really asking, because it’s not like she’s a normal 100% healthy cat, so she may not be going when she needs to yet.
