How much will it cost to add a bathroom to my house?

jerricabenton21 asked:

It will require adding a wall as well as connecting the plumbing from another bathroom (which would share a wall with the new bathroom). The approximate size would be 5 feet by 10 feet. I am in Southern California if that makes a difference.

Cristin asked:

I’ve read that tropical houseplants do well in bathrooms. My bathroom is fairly brigh. I am planning on having the plant in ahanging basket, so I’d prefer a plant that trails or hangs down & is non toxic.

What would be a good starter bathroom plant for a novice plant keeper/gardner?

Are their any that flower of have a nice fragrance?

I have a 6×8 bathroom of which the tub takes up 3×6. would it be very diffucult to remove the tile on the floor and the wall (7 foot wall, the tiles go up about 4 feet) - i figure this could be an easy way to upgrade my bathroom - currently the tile in it is from the early 60’s.

Additionally - would I have to remove my toilet to retile?

eyikoluvsandy asked:

Our bathroom was redone fairly recently (within the last 5 years) and the ceiling and tops of the walls are spotted with mold! Ewww! I don’t recall that happening before, at least not to this degree. How can I get rid of it? And how can I prevent it? Is there a certain paint or a certain type of drywall that prevents this sort of thing from happening?
And also, how can I get rid of the mold that’s already there?

justasking asked:

I want a soap dispenser that will sit on my bathroom sink. I have not been able to find one that would match my bathroom. I have a mostly white bathroom with touches of mint and brushed brass fixtures. Most soap dispensers I have found have chrome tops or come with a design. 10 points to whoever can find one online. Thanks.

Maria asked:

My bathroom sink has a double faucet. The cold water faucet has no problem but when the hot water faucet is turned on it shrieks. This doesn’t happen when you turn the faucet but rather when the water is running. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for your help.
